Chaga

Chaga or Inonotus Obliquus is the fruit body of a perennial mushroom. It develops on the trunks of adult live birches in the form of oval or rounded growths reaching 50 cm in diameter, weighing 3-5 kg. The surface of the mushroom is black, deeply cracked, the inner part is brown, closer to the wood it is reddish-brown with white streaks of colorless hyphae. Chaga grows up to 10-15 years or more, feeding on the sap of living trees.
It has a general tonic and analgesic effect. Improves the general condition of cancer patients, normalizes the activity of the gastrointestinal tract, reduces sweating (the effect of agaric acid).
Method of administration and dosage
50 g of crushed chaga is placed in a glass or enameled dish, 0.5 liters of warm boiled water (no higher than 50 ° C) are poured, infused for 2 days at room temperature, filtered, the raw materials are squeezed, the volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 0.5 liters with boiled water
. The infusion is taken orally 1/2 cup 6 times a day or 1 glass 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals. Treatment is carried out in courses of 3-5 months with breaks of 7-10 days.
It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.
